GSP

Download GSP

One file. It installs, opens a panel in your browser, and you pick a game. This is 0.4.1.

Windows Installer · 64-bit · 7.5 MB Windows may warn that the publisher is unknown — the certificate that removes that warning costs a few hundred pounds a year and GSP has not bought one yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. macOS Apple silicon · 7.5 MB Not notarised for the same reason. Right-click the app and choose Open the first time, rather than double-clicking it. macOS Intel · 8.2 MB For a Mac made before 2020. Right-click and choose Open the first time. Linux Single binary · x86-64 · 16.9 MB Make it executable and run it. Everything it needs is inside the one file.
Everything else in 0.4.1

The headless server for a machine with no desktop, other architectures, and the relay itself.

What it needs from your computer

A Minecraft server for a handful of friends wants about 2 GB of memory and will use a core or two while people are on. GSP downloads the right version of Java itself, so nothing has to be installed first.

The server runs while GSP is open and stops when you close it. That is deliberate: a launcher that leaves game servers running invisibly is a launcher that eats a machine for a week without telling anybody.

Do I need an account?

No. Install it and play. GSP arranges what it needs to reach the relay on its own, and never asks who you are.

An account exists for people who want their setup to follow them to another computer. You can make one from inside the launcher's settings, at any point, or never.
